TERMS & CONDITIONS Love Parasols Limited

GENERAL
1.1 This website is owned and operated by Love Parasols Limited (“Love Parasols”, “us”, “we”, “our”), a company registered in Ireland under company number 816306, with its registered office at Anna Glen, Ballinacorbeg, Roundwood, Co. Wicklow, Ireland, A98 DC90.
1.2 Our online shop is aimed at consumers and trade customers. For the purposes of these Terms, a “Consumer” means an individual acting for purposes which are wholly or mainly outside that individual’s trade, business, craft or profession, as defined under the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
1.3 By accessing or using this website (including our online shop) and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
1.4 These Terms must be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, available on our website. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1.5 The version of these Terms published on the website at the time you place your order shall apply.
1.6 You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or older (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18).
CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP
2.1 Our online shop constitutes an invitation to treat. Your order is an offer to purchase (“Order”). We reserve the right to accept or reject any Order.
2.2 We will notify you of acceptance of your Order by email confirmation and/or by dispatching the goods. A legally binding contract is formed only upon our acceptance.
2.3 We sell goods subject to availability. We may refuse or cancel an order if the goods are out of stock, if payment fails, or for any other valid reason.
2.4 You may review and correct your Order before confirming it at checkout.
2.5 You may create an account to save details. Any personal data you provide will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.
PRICES AND PAYMENT
3.1 All prices displayed are inclusive of Irish VAT (where applicable) at the rate in force at the time of purchase.
3.2 Prices do not include customs or import duties. If you are ordering from outside the EU, you may be responsible for such charges.
3.3 Payment must be made in full at checkout. We use secure third-party payment providers (e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal, etc.). We are not responsible for their terms or data processing — please review their policies.
DELIVERY
4.1 We currently ship within Ireland and the EU.
4.2 We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 working days. Delivery times vary depending on the destination and carrier.
4.3 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our reasonable control.
CANCELLATION, RETURNS AND REFUNDS (14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD)
5.1 As a Consumer purchasing online (a Distance Contract), you have a statutory right under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 to cancel your order within 14 calendar days without giving a reason (“Cooling-off Period”).
5.2 The 14-day period begins on the day you (or a nominated third party) receive physical possession of the goods.
5.3 To exercise your right to cancel, you must contact us in writing by email to info@loveparasols.com before the end of the 14-day period. Please include your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel.
5.4 Once you notify us, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date you informed us of cancellation.
5.5 You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless the goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied.
5.6 Returned goods must be in their original condition, unused (where reasonable), in original packaging, and with all labels attached.
5.7 We will refund the price you paid for the goods (excluding the original delivery charge) within 14 days of receiving the returned items, using the same payment method.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal:
- The right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
- Goods returned showing signs of use beyond inspection may have a deduction applied or may not be accepted.
5.8 Faulty or Non-Conforming Goods Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022. If goods are faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, contact us at info@loveparasols.com with details and photos. We will arrange a return at our cost and offer repair, replacement, or refund (including reasonable delivery costs).
PRODUCT INFORMATION & CARE
6.1 We recommend following the care instructions provided with our products. Normal wear and tear is not considered a defect.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
7.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the value of the goods you purchased.
7.2 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
8.1 All designs, images, and content on our website are owned by or licensed to Love Parasols Limited. Unauthorised reproduction or use is prohibited.
FORCE MAJEURE
9.1 We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure).
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
10.1 These Terms and Conditions and any contract formed under them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
10.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or any contract between us shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
GENERAL
11.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us.
11.2 If any provision is held invalid, the remainder shall remain in effect.
11.3 We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.
